Prospective New Member Information

The Junior League of Cleveland Inc. reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins, who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to volunteerism. The Junior League of Cleveland, Inc. is seeking prospective members who are responsible women, who express an interest and involvement in community service through volunteering, whose actions will actively uphold the standards of the Junior League, and who are willing to make a personal commitment and contribution to the Junior League.

Prospective Member Eligibility

1. The Junior League of Cleveland Inc. does not requires sponsorship of new members.
2. She must be a resident of the Greater Cleveland area or qualify for non-resident status.
3. She must be 21 years of age at the time of her application.

What Must the Prospective Member Do?

1. A prospective member is encouraged to attend an information meeting to learn about the Membership Application and Course Outline. Please call The Junior League of Cleveland, Inc. for more information.
2. Must complete the application form and return it to The Junior League of Cleveland, Inc. by the deadline.
3. Make payment of one-time course fee plus $170.00 dues to The Junior League of Cleveland, Inc. by the deadline.
4. Express an interest in and commitment to volunteerism. Be willing to be placed in a Junior League volunteer project or Junior League approved volunteer position as a First Year Active.
5. Be prepared to participate in all Provisional activities.
6. Prospective members should be aware of their financial commitment throughout the year.
