House Layout

First Floor of League House
The living room, library, dining room, kitchen, workroom, and one powder room are located on the first floor. There is a storage room by the side door. Folding tables, folding chairs, flip charts, stands, and supplies are stored here. A coat closet is located inside the front door. There is additional space for hanging coats in the workroom. The powder room is located off the main foyer and under the main staircase.

The Kitchen and Dining Room
Please label items placed in the refrigerator. All dirty dishes should be rinsed and placed in the dishwasher. There is an additional dishwasher in the workroom. Please leave the countertops clean. Coffee is available (upon request) in the kitchen when a meeting is scheduled. Thermal pots, cups, glasses and trays are stored in the kitchen. The kitchen may not be used to prepare entire meals. Only last minute preparation is permitted. The oven may be used for warming only. When serving a buffet meal, a tablecloth and pad must be requested for the dining room table. Please return everything to the kitchen after the meeting. The Second Floor
The second floor is the center of operations for The JLC. The offices for the Cookbook and Noteworthy, president, financial manager, administrative assistant and administrative director are located on this floor. The caretaker’s apartment, council room, mailroom, two supply closets, copier, and two bathrooms are also on this floor. The Board, Council and Staff mailboxes, paper for the copiers, and miscellaneous forms are located in the mailroom. The Third Floor
The offices of The Northeast Ohio Race for the Cure® is on the third floor. There is also a training room, a sunroom off the training room, and a bathroom on this floor. The training room is used for training sessions, and committee meetings. The sunroom is often used for serving refreshments during these meetings. There is a closet in the third floor hallway where extra folding tables are stored. Extra folding chairs are stored in the cupboard in the training room. The Basement
The soda machine is located in the basement. Assorted canned drinks can be purchased for $.60. There are five rooms in the basement, which are used for storage by our projects, committees, and resident nonprofit organizations. A portion of archives is located in one of the rooms in the basement as well as on the third floor in the small storage room and the cupboards in the hallway. There is also a bathroom.

Basement Storage Space: Storage space is at a minimum at League House! Contact the House Operations Chair to make arrangements. Do not leave items in the basement unmarked and unaccounted for or they may be thrown out. According to our insurance company, all items stored in the basement must be stored on pallets.
