Awards Nomination Information

All League members have the privilege of nominating candidates for the Ruth T. Lucas, Frances Payne Bolton, Sustainer Service, and the Carolyn K. Oakes Awards. The member's job is to provide the Awards Selection Committee with information about the nominee from League co-workers and agency personnel. It is important to be specific and give details about the nominee's accomplishments. Contact the Membership Vice President for additional proposal information. All nominations are due at League House by April 15. All nominations will be held for three years.

For the President's Award, any member, Active or Sustaining, may nominate by sending a written recommendation to the Board. The decision will be made by the Board and the President.

For the Daisy Award and Applause, Applause, any member may nominate a volunteer in a written recommendation to the Membership Vice President. Decisions are made by the Membership Council.
